R & R is fast approaching, Rfn Ramsay and Rfn Johnson will be heading home for a well deserved break in the next few days followed by the rest of us in the next few months, judging by the volume of parcels some people have been receiving Christmas has come early, some people (Rfn Bird, Johnson and Mitchell) need their R& R sooner rather than later so that they can get a rest from eating too much chocolate!

Rfn Green, Elliott, Skinner and Johnson have been given the task of IC Christmas decorations and entertainment in preparation for the big day, the plan is each CP will get a Christmas dinner dropped off by helicopter, we will then try and make the best of it by playing a few board games, watching some Christmas TV and chatting to our loved ones.

All the Rfn and NCOs are doing a great job out here; Cpl Perry and Powell have been top quality commanders on the ground and in camp they have been the back bone of the plt and a great example to all of the Rifemen, Rfn Sykes has been working hard taking point on all patrols, Rfn Keya Refuses to give his GPMG to anyone else, “I think that it may be glued to his hands”, all of the Rfn have made me proud they have easily out shined our other multiple with ease in everything way.
